Abstract
Summary of the Presentation by Researcher Nassima Hamida: The Role of Intangible Folk Heritage in Building the Value System of Algerian Society
In all societies, folk heritage represents a transmission channel for a wide range of moral, educational, and social values, as well as cultural and even national identity values according to which a society evolves. It constitutes the foundation and the pillar upon which society relies throughout all stages of socialization. It also represents a sensitive field for the value system through everything it encompasses: values, customs, traditions, folk proverbs, wisdom, tales, folk songs, etc.
For example, a piece of popular wisdom frequently repeated in Algerian society: "Your brother remains your brother; do not be fooled by your friend" (implying your brother is your true support), is part of the founding heritage emphasizing the necessity of strengthening kinship ties—specifically brotherhood—which supports the cohesion of the family fabric and reflects positively on the social fabric. Similarly, folk songs that celebrate chivalry as a historical, sporting, martial, and identity-based value serve as a basis for forming a generation with "a sound mind in a sound body," imbued with the values of courage, chivalry, nobility, and the defense of the homeland.
All these models illustrate the role played by elements of folk heritage in constructing a solid value system that preserves the ethics of society and ensures its permanence by protecting the values of the youth, the pillar of the nation. This is what we will present during our intervention by citing, for indicative and non-exhaustive purposes, models of intangible folk heritage while analyzing their role and positive impact on our youth and the value system of our society.

Summary of the Presentation by Researcher Dadoua Hadria Nebia: In Memory of the Pioneer of the Modern Algerian Renaissance, Abdelhamid Ben Badis
Knowledge Day (Youm El Ilm), corresponding to April 16th of each year, carries a deep national symbolism and is celebrated throughout the country. This day coincides with the anniversary of the passing of Sheikh Abdelhamid Ben Badis, the leader of the reformist and educational renaissance and founder of the Association of Algerian Muslim Ulema. This association played a pivotal role in preserving the Arabic language, the Islamic religion, and national values in the face of attempts to erase national identity. This day is a national occasion to honor science and knowledge while highlighting their role in building a prosperous future.

Summary of the Presentation by Researcher Reda Khemis: The Authenticity of Poetic Documentation in Universal Historical Heritage — Models and Examples
Poetry has played a major role in immortalizing important historical events such as wars, conquests, revolutions, natural disasters, as well as social and political transformations. Poems describing these events, although they carry the poet's own vision, offer contemporary testimony of these facts and help in understanding their impact on society.
For example, epic and war poems contain details about the course of battles, their heroes, and their outcomes. Despite certain limitations regarding the documentary value of poetry, it remains an indispensable source for understanding human sentiments, customs, traditions, and major historical events from a contemporary perspective. A critical and conscious approach to poetry can considerably enrich our understanding of our historical heritage, both individual and universal; this is what we will attempt to demonstrate by presenting significant models and examples.
