Abstract
The research team from the Imaginary and Social Processes Division held an internal seminar entitled: 'The common cultural and social heritage of the border regions of Algeria and Tunisia: Models and representations', as part of the research project: 'The common cultural and social heritage of the border regions of Algeria and Tunisia'. Below is the project summary
<p>The research project presented is a new proposition under the framework of the study axis: “tangible and intangible cultural patrimony (collection, archives, and classification)”. The goal of this project is to identify and classify components of the cultural and social patrimony of the Algerian and Tunisian border regions, as well as to analyze some of these elements based on field surveys of ethnographic nature and in collaboration with the National Patrimony Institute in Tunisia.</p>
